The Akwa Filter is intended to recover drinking water from most fresh water sources such as rivers, rainwater, puddles, lakes and swamps. Its main duty is to remove water born bacteria and multiple contaminants from drinking water recovered from poor quality freshwater sources which are usually polluted
Scope of Application
The filter operates purely on gravitational force and it’s daily output is enough to provide safe drinking water for an entire household (minimum of 25l-50l per day depending on raw water quality).
Filter cartridges are made of a track membrane –
a thin polymer film of 8-10 microns thick,
each square centimeter of which contains hundreds of millions pores (exactly sized holes of 0.2 – 0.4 microns in diameter) ensuring a high filtration quality.
Ease of Use
- Fill container with raw water
- Immerse Akwa filter into raw water container
- Lightly suck air out of the outlet tube
- Place outlet tube in clean container for recovered drinking water

The AKWA 20 is intended to recover drinking water from most fresh water sources such as rivers, rainwater, puddles, lakes and swamps. Its main duty is to remove waterborne bacteria and multiple contaminants from drinking water recovered from poor quality freshwater sources which are usually polluted.
Scope of Application
The filter can be operated both in gravity mode and in pressurized water lines. When filter is operated in gravity mode, it’s daily output is enough to provide safe drinking water for at least 100 adults. With electricity the output increases to safe drinking water for 1000 adults.
